The foundation of EWS dates back to 1960. Our current core competencies
are in the area of tool systems for CNC turning machines (static and
power-driven tools), expanding to tool turrets and revolver support
systems with EWS Korea. The modern profile of the EWS Group is
characterised by the individual talents of the more than 300 people that
work for the Group. EWS products are "made in Germany". Our specialist
expertise is demonstrated by our systems partnerships with DMG-Mori
Seiki (Trifix and MSQP), INDEX (W interlocking and V strip), Sandvik
(EWS Capto), Iscar and Arno (tool carrier systems). With our EWS Varia
quick-change system (modular system, often incorrectly designated as
Vario), our company is setting new benchmarks in optimising tool setup
