From January to August, Kazakhstan's rubber and plastics industry increased by 9.3%

According to Harbin news agency on October 16, citing Energyprom.kz According to the data released by the website, from January to August 2020, the output value of Kazakhstan's rubber and plastics industry will reach 145.3 billion tenge, with a year-on-year growth of 9.3%.


In terms of industrial output value, Almaty, Nursultan and Almaty are ranked in the top three, with output values of 30.1 billion tenge, 22.5 billion tenge and 18.5 billion tenge, accounting for about half of the national industrial output value in the same period. Akmora (+ 76.5%), xihar (+ 56%) and Mangistau (+ 47.7%) ranked first in terms of industry growth.


In terms of actual output, only the output of plastic products has increased. Among them, 7000 tons of household plastic products were produced, with a year-on-year increase of 36.6%; 17100 tons of plastic bags and bags, an increase of 35.8%; and 70.65 million tons of plastic pipes and connectors, an increase of 14.9%. The output of rubber products decreased. Among them, 297.6 tons of rubber pipes were produced, a decrease of 20.3%, and 120.3 tons of rubber conveyor belts, a decrease of 12.1%.


In 2019, Kazakhstan's rubber and plastics industry will achieve an output value of 244.4 billion tenge, an increase of 15.6% over the previous year.
