According to Yuetong News Agency, on April 24th, a seminar on "Vietnamese Plastic Industry and Packaging Industry: Huge Opportunity from the Fourth Industrial Revolution" was held in Hanoi. This is one of the events within the framework of the 2019 Hanoi International Plastic Printing and Packaging Industry Show.
In recent years, Vietnam's plastic exports have continued to grow, with an average annual growth rate of 14% to 15%. Experts said that in the future, Vietnam ’s domestic consumption and export goods will continue to increase, especially the growing demand for food, consumer goods, canned beverages, product production will continue to grow strongly, and demand for packaging will also increase.
At present, Vietnamese companies still face many difficulties in developing the plastics and packaging industry, especially financial difficulties. Industry experts believe that in order to enhance the competitiveness of domestic and international markets, enterprises should make full use of the potential of the domestic market, while looking for new markets, diversify product styles, and improve product quality competitiveness.
