Many SMEs in Vietnam are in a difficult situation

Vietnam’s “Young People” reported on May 8 that the “2021 Vietnam SME Operation Report” published by Facebook on May 7 indicated that 40% of Vietnam’s SMEs were forced to reduce their employees due to the impact of the new crown epidemic, of which 27 % Of companies stop all employees from work.

According to this survey, 24% of SMEs in Vietnam were forced to close their doors in February 2021. 62% of small and medium-sized enterprises said on Facebook that their operating income continued to decline due to reduced customer demand. 19% of SMEs may face difficulties in the funding chain, and 24% of SMEs worry that customers will continue to decrease in the coming months.

However, 25% of small and medium-sized enterprises said that their operating income has increased since last year, and 55% of small and medium-sized enterprises said that even if the epidemic is not effectively controlled, they are confident that they can continue to operate in the next six months.
