What are the consequences of swallowing plastic packaging bags?

I accidentally swallowed a part of the plastic, which is similar to the outer packaging of jujube cake. When I realized it, I couldn't cough or spit it out. Now I feel very uncomfortable in my chest, as if it is stuck there. What will happen?
