Established in 1963, VCF Films produces packaging and converter films for a wide variety of end-use applications. PVC, acrylic and optical cellulosic films are produced via its solvent bandcasting process. This is a unique process, which imparts special characteristics to these films, such as clarity and chemical resistance, dimensional stability and a virtual lack of pinholes. Additionally, it manufactures bi-axially oriented shrink films. Laboratory capabilities at VCF Films include gas chromatography, Instron tensile tester, color spectrophotometer, haze and gloss measurement, hardness, impact resistance, tear resistance and heat-sealing. VCF Films is a wholly owned subsidiary of PMC Global and is located in Howell, Mich
