Thomson Bros. Trading is a rapidly expanding company based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Thomson Bros. Trading originated on a farm in the Alexandria district where we started manufacturing plastic valves in response to the need we saw for valves which met certain criteria.
As well as being affordable,these plastic valves are corrosion free, do not seize in adverse water conditions and have no scrap metal value, which is an important deterrent to theft. The range was then increased to include check valves, taps, elbows etc. To grow the business, we moved to premises in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth. The current premises accommodate a factory, showroom and sales centre. We realised there was a market for brass valves and therefore started importing a good quality brass range. Thomson Bros. also imports high-quality P.T.F.E thread tape. Thomson Bros. has evolved into a strong force in the fluid control field over the years and is constantly transforming and evolving.
