Founded in September 2008, SigGear employs a group of highly qualified
technical staff in gear and transmission production, a range of
automated high-precision machining systems and key expertise in the
design and manufacture of gears and transmissions. Since 2010, SigGear
has focused on the design, development and manufacture of planetary
gearboxes. Our transmission systems and solutions are used in a range of
customer products, including household robots, smart toilets, medical
equipment, e-bikes and drones. At the same time, SigGear is undergoing a
management restructuring process from a family business to a modernised
company. Advanced management tools are being used and formal management
standards introduced. SigGear received the ISO9001 quality management
systems certification in 2016, and the TS16949 certification in 2017.
Also in 2017, SigGear founded a subsidiary in Aachen, Germany.
