Since EPS consists of 98% air and only 2% polystyrene, the material saves resources in a special way. At the same time, it makes a difference. The lighter a vehicle, the less gas it needs. Of course, this also applies to the transport of products. That's why its ultra-lightweight EPS packaging directly contributes to the fact that, for example, transporters consume less fuel.
Due to the insulating capability of EPS packaging, especially for food, no additional cooling is necessary. This saves energy, protects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions. Even with the insulation of heating pipes or shutter boxes molded parts made of airpop® save energy and thus protect our climate.
