The foundation of GMT Gummi-Metall-Technik GmbH in 1968 in Buehl, Germany by Gerhard and Atina Engstler was the beginning of a family-run success story which continues to endure more than half a century later.

Within a few years of it’s foundation, GMT established itself as a valued research and development specialist in the field of anti-vibration technology and grew from a small local company to a global business group. Today the GMT Group comprises production subsidiaries and sales offices in Switzerland, Austria, Ireland, UK, France, USA, Malaysia and India. Continual growth keeps us moving forward and develops a range of expertise which enables us to provide optimised solutions whilst mainitaing our flexibility.
