Its owners, Eric Grossman & Edward Hanson, have been friends since elementary school and have both been with the company for over 25 years. Since 1997, they have co-owned and managed Metropak and have made it a point to keep customer service Priority #1. As a result, the company is the highest rated bag supplier in the industry and has consistently maintained its 5-Star ASI rating and A+ Sage rating every year. The company has also been named multiple times as one of the best workplaces in the industry.

Metropak has invested heavily in recent years, expanding its manufacturing facility in Richardson, Texas. The two owners are very committed to manufacturing as many products as possible here in the USA. In 2017, Metropak became the first supplier to offer “Made To Order Bags” in as few as 2,000 pieces, printed in multiple colors.

Metropak has state of the art equipment for producing both handle bags & poly mailers. With the current tari issues and uncertainty of importing, Ragbags, its patented USA made fabric, are becoming a popular alternative to Chinese made reusable bags.
