While many companies are built in boardrooms and high-rise office buildings, two men dedicated to their local community built Economy Products & Solutions from the ground up. On April 15, 1936, during difficult economic times, Irving Cherry and William Shear opened the business on Andrews Street in Rochester, N.Y. Because of Mr. Cherry’s and Mr. Shear’s unmatched customer service and high quality products, our business has continued to grow to this day at its current location of 1175 E. Main St. in Rochester.
Management of the company has been kept in the family for over 70 years and today, the founders’ sons, Robert Cherry and Sheldon Shear, serve as Economy Products & Solutions' chief executive officers. They have continued the practices and dedication of their fathers and are leading our company well into the future.
