North American Pipe is a United States manufacturer of PVC pipe, operating five manufacturing plants strategically located to serve the U.S. Municipal water and sewer pipe is the largest sector of the polymeric pipe business in the U.S. and North American Pipe manufactures a full line, ranging from one inch diameter pipes for house services to thirty inch pipes for water mains and sewer systems. It also serves irrigation, plumbing and industrial markets. North American Pipe Corporation came into existence in August 1992, when the Westlake Group formed a subsidiary to acquire three PVC pipe plants for H&W Industries. These plants, located in Boonville, Miss., Thomasville, Ga., and Springfield Ky., all manufacture pipes with integral gasketed joints, primarily for use in potable water systems and sanitary sewer systems.
