MIMplus Technologies offers highly innovative powder-metallurgic moulding methods to produce metal components close to the final contour in a variety of shapes that cannot be created with cutting methods, for example. The moulding method is suitable for difficult to machine or expensive materials and can be combined with processes like laser treatment or surface finishing. This method requires few resources and is particularly advantageous when complex component geometries meet difficult to machine materials. Aside from the advantage of being able to produce detailed off-tool parts, MIM components can also be easily processed or finished using other methods. Metal powder injection moulding is an economic production method for large-scale series production and is particularly suited to making small to medium-sized components with an average weight of 0.1 to approximately 150 g.
