Minigrip is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and sale of reclosable bags (also called zipper bags) for the (1) medical, (2) industrial packaging and (3) institutional food service markets. When Minigrip introduced the first integral zipper bag in the US industrial packaging market in 1959, we marketed our new product with a red line on the lip of each bag. Since then, the trademarked Color Line has become synonymous with the highest quality zipper bag in the world.

Today, Minigrip Commercial leads the market in reclosable bag packaging technology with innovative, well recognized brands including Lab Guard® (medical), TearZone® (medical), Red Line™ (commercial packaging). We also manufacture custom designed bags incorporating vibrant graphics, zippers, and other features to make your brand POP.

Minigrip is comprised of two business units: (1) Commercial Products and (2) Consumer Products. Commercial Products manufactures a wide variety of sizes and types of bags and sells into B2B markets primarily through medical and commercial distribution. Consumer Products manufactures and sells private label food storage bags into the retail sector.

In 2007, Minigrip Commercial acquired BagCo and integrated its organization into the Minigrip family brand of products. In July 2012, Inteplast Group acquired Minigrip and combined it's healthcare and specimen packaging business with Minigrip to form Minigrip, LLC. With the addition of Inteplast healthcare, Minigrip now offers Speci-Gard®, the leading brand of adhesive closure and chain-of-custody bags on the market!.
