Monarch Machine Tool has for more than 95 years has been setting the pace in the metalworking industry. The company s first products were belt-driven metal cutting lathes. The company designed one of the first contour cutting machines and was the first company to run two shifts during World War II. The Cortland, N.Y. facility was opened in the late 1960 s, and was considered innovative and one of the nation s top 10 production facilities.
