Eu-Retec (Pvt) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of new and remoulded solid tyres, rubber tracks and Bogie wheels, with German investor Continental AG as its joint venture partner.
Solid Tyres are used for forklifts, trucks & other material handling equipment, such as load carrying trucks at seaports & airports, non-marking solid tyres for the pharmaceutical & food industry & other clean room applications. Rubber Tracks and Bogie Wheels are mainly used for earth moving and agriculture machines.
The company prides itself in the quality of its products and the commitment of its employees. These combined with expertise in technology and sales & marketing from both Continental AG and Eu-Retec, have resulted in its global success of today.
Furthermore, the brain child of the founder and Managing Director, Anurath Abeyratne, has also paved the way to innovate its own range of Solid Tyres, now exported under its own brands, NOVUM, ASTUM BLU and QUANTUM.
Eu-Retec was duly incorporate under the laws of Sri Lanka in the year 1999 as a limited liability company and is situated in Kalutara, 50 km south of the city of Colombo, the commercial capital of the country. The main sea port of the country is also located in the capital city, which gives the company easy access to its export logistics.
