WEMA was founded in Olbernhau, Germany, in July 1992 and began its work
on 1st August 1992 at Gerbergasse 4 + 5 with eight employees. Before
long, the company had developed its own production range for the
wood-processing industry. At present, a core team of 15 highly qualified
and dedicated employees produces: Fully automated lathes CONQUEST for
series production and MINIMAT 25, MINIMAT 45 and MINIMAT 65 in three
sizes for small parts; Copy lathes JOKER 7000 and JOKER 7000 CD in a
traditional version either with PLC system and as a double copier or in a
CNC version; CNC lathes and milling machines JOKER 7000 CNC and JOKER
8000 CNC; Manual lathes ALPHA 200/250, BETA 250, GAMMA 250/300 and ALPHA
OPTIMO in a robust grey cast iron version, developed in collaboration
