Capricorn Mouldings was incorporated in March 1983 by Mr. David Mount. Sadly no longer with us, Dave had spent many years within the plastics sector and had worked for a few large moulding companies within the UK, but would be best remembered for his time in Cardiff where he lectured at the former plastics and rubber institute (PRI).

It seemed a natural progression for Dave to set up a moulding business, Capricorn Mouldings Ltd was born, set up with the emphasis on the supply of quality, reliability and competitive pricing, more than 30 years on we still carry forward his legacy and still maintain that personal touch to all of our customers.

Capricorn has gained a reputation for its quick turnaround and its ‘small enough to care, large enough to cope’ attitude; consisting of a workforce team of 11 staff members with over 130 years combined experience.

Capricorn operates out of a modern 7,000 sq ft facility on the popular Hortonwood industrial estate in Telford, Shropshire. Currently we have 13 modern moulding machines ranging from 35ton through to 180ton, we can produce parts from .5 grams to 300 grams, see (plant list) for more detailed information.

We have all the ancillary equipment to manage with most situations and our own in house tool room for small repairs and maintenance.
