Blandford Machine and Tool Co. is a fully intergarted die design and fabrication facility that has been designing and fabricating progressive and manual transfer dies since 1976.
We deliver the highest quality dies with the metal stamper and end product in mind. Our dies are built to deliver consistent quality parts with the maximum amount of press uptime and least amount of scrap.
Blandford offers the full complement of services for a die fabricator, including:
3D & 2D die design with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Three CNC vertical, 3 axis mills with 3D machining capability, maximum bed size is 51” x 29” and 2 programming workstations using MasterCam software.
Two water submerged, wire EDMs with maximum travel of 23” x 15”.
Onsite heat treatment
Eight grinders varying in size from a surface of 6” x 12” to 12” x 48”.
Two mechanical presses, 200 & 250-ton, with a maximum bed size of 62” x 78”.
Develop and run first piece production from the dies we fabricate, including completing first piece inspection reports using our coordinate-measuring machine.
