AIT produces and develops sensors based on electrochemical technologies to monitor the formative process in the wine elaboration process. They also develop nano-materials and new processes for industrial sectors like aeronautic, glass, rubber, metal and plastic. AIT brings 11 years of working experience in more than 60 R&D projects and 9 European projects like GROWTH, IMS, STREP, IP, NoE and EUREKA.
The expertise that AIT will provide in THERMALCOND project is focused on the nanoparticles functionalization and the final components surfaces modification through SAM technology. AIT has a wealth of knowledge in the surface treatment of plastic surfaces, developed during sensor production. The sensors for wine quality control that AIT produces are the base of the SAM technology to apply in the project materials and components developed. The project offers new applications possibilities and opens new markets for their technology and chemicals. Their role in the project is consistent with the business activities.
