    1960

    A laboratory for high-class inorganic pigments was built to streamline quality control.

    The pigment laboratory was separated as an independent company, starting ASAHI KASEI KOGYO CO., LTD.
    1971
    December
    Asahi Colors Co., Ltd. was established to perform production and distribution of oil colors.

    A special contact was made with NIBCO INC. in the United States regarding Copper Tube Fittings, etc.
