Action Plastics is a prominent supplier of plastic packaging material to various industries. We offer a very wide range of products including bottles, jars, polycans, buckets, caps, closures and various dispensers. The company is in its 20th year in production. This extensive experience enables us to identify our customers’ requirements and to ensure that we can supply their needs.
Our customers are many and varied, from the smallest of spaza shops to the largest international cosmetic suppliers. We constantly review our product range and add more options for our customers. In addition we offer custom moulding and if needed we can assist with product design work and mould manufacture through reputable suppliers.
History
Action Plastics started life in 1994 with one blow moulding machine and a lot of enthusiasm. The company has steadily grown by acquiring more equipment and incorporating new disciplines such as injection moulding and PET bottle production. During the first 16 years of operation, stock deliveries were done by means of various Land Rovers to the extent that some were simply worn out! Today deliveries are done by truck, or we use a bakkie for smaller loads.
In January 2012, we acquired our own factory and are looking forward to a second factory on the cards during 2013, which will allow us the ability to increase stock holding and keep delivery times to a minimum. We will also be concentrating the usual effort in uplifting our very competent staff through on-going training. This year will see the installation of more state-of-the-art, energy efficient machinery that produces superior quality and ultimately, better pricing for our customers.

We are also committed to the support of the community around us by contributing to local charities. It is our intention to increase this commitment. We are looking forward to another 20 years of growth and a great future for all concerned.
